Lebong Cantonment Board has introduced an electronic system for the public services. These centres have been established with the aim of completing public grievances of Lebong Cantonment with speed, efficiency, stability and reliability. The Centre will provide the Samadhan for public grievances, Dak, Revenue & Tax and Birth & Death registration.
Since Lebong Cantt. manages 1 English Primary School upto class IV. Every year uniforms, books etc. are distributed among students free of cost, from time to time students are taken for excursion / educational tour. Computer education from Class I to Class IV have been introduced. Efforts are being made for smart classes in Cantonment Primary School Lebong.Apart from academic education the students are also encouraged on cultural and sports activities. The teachers are sent attend the educational workshops whenever organized by West Bengal Primary School Education Board. Two English teachers on contractual basis for the session have been engaged for upgrading the command over English Language. Besides these, educative films are shown every Friday on the Computer. School wall arts and paintings consisting of cartoon characters, subjective knowledge giving pictures, informative quotations, prayers, etc have been done
To promote e-Governance for empowering cantt. citizens, promoting the inclusive and sustainable growth of the Electronics, IT enhancing Cantonment’s role in Internet Governance, adopting a multipronged approach that includes development of human resources, promoting R&D and innovation, enhancing efficiency through digital services and ensuring a secure cyber space.
Samadhan App as an e-governance initiative under Digital India project was created by Lebong Cantonment Board to strengthen and empower all Cantt. Citizens to report and evaluate the cleanliness of their own Colony/Area. These Apps will also meet out the mandate of Lebong Cantonment Board towards sanitation.
Public Health Care
The Board maintains one dispensary. There is one RMO on contractual basis. Minor treatment are done in the dispensary and major treatment are referred to Darjeeling District Hospital. The Cantt. Board Employees and their dependents are provided with medical facilities and free medicines through the Cantt Board Dispensary. A health checkup camp for school children, Staffs, senior citizens and Polio Vaccination are organized from time to time.
A general health checkup for the residents ,senior citizens and school children for the year 2017 had been done during the year. International Yoga Diwas were observed to spread Health awareness among the Public of Lebong Cantt. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan have been celebrated and the message of Swachhata have been spread among the employees, residents, students of this Cantt. for better hygiene .

CB Lebong maintains one children park near Cricket Bazar .The Mali of this office looks after it and from time to time the flower seedling and pots are allocated for the beatification of the park and the office area. All people need physical activity to maintain fitness and health. Physical activity increases strength, flexibility, and endurance; relieves symptoms of depression and anxiety; improves mood; and enhances psychological well-being. Exposure to nature in parks, gardens, and natural areas can improve psychological and social health. Parks also build healthy communities by creating stable neighborhoods and strengthening community development. Parks are one of the quickest and most effective ways to build a sense of community and improve quality of life. Parks provide places for people to connect and interact in a shared environment. Parks offer children a sense of place, self-identity, and belonging as an antidote to social alienation, vandalism, and violence. It helps to engage children in informal, experiential learning through play and shared experiences with peers, laying the foundation for effective formal education and provides a valuable resource for closing the educational achievement gap in communities.
Presently, there are 80 numbers of Streetlights managed by CB Lebong and 100% Street Lights points have already been converted to LED. All the normal light points / CFLs in office buildings, school, Dispensary and Staff Quarters have already been replaced with LED bulbs . Two numbers of solar streetlight have been installed in Cantt area during the year.
The Board provides drinking water to the Civil population through its own natural spring sources and from MES, Lebong on a yearly payment basis. The per capita per day availability of water is 40 litres.
